It seems each oscillation mode can last from several years up to ten to fifteen years, as with the recent positive mode oscillation which started around 1990.

I saw a dipper in the Lym last week at the bottom of our garden, we back onto the cricket pitch in Uplyme. Its the first time I've seen one this far up the river.

Does anyone recieve Freeview in Uplyme? I know of several instances where the Freeview website has suggested that certain areas are unable to receive it but in practice they can (none in Uplyme though ...
