A year ago I saw a dipper in the river lim at the bottom of the garden (Glebelands). On several occasions I have also seen Kingfishers darting up and down the river.

I can comfirm that there were signs up a few weeks ago. The were on fluoresent card and looked very temporary. I suspect that someone was having a pool party and put up these joke signs to assist gues ...

I saw a single dipper on the Lym yesterday (12/2/2005). It was foraging on the river bed for about twenty minutes. I live on Glebelands and my house backs on to the river.
