Have you noticed that last collection times at many of Uplyme’s Royal Mail boxes have been brought forward by sometimes an hour or more. Recently I was surprised to find that this had happened at the village post office and sped, without breaking the speed limit, to Raymonds Hill PO only to find that the last collection there had also been brought forward.

Does anyone know when this under the cover of darkness change took place and more to the point I seemed to have missed the press release notifying us of these changes. This is more evidence that the Royal Mail is run for its employees rather than as a public service.

Geoff would you be willing to put on the Uplyme website a list of post boxes with their last collection times. It has come down to the public doing the work of the Royal Mail Sad

Yep, this caught me out as well the other day.

I would be happy to publicise a list of last posting times and locations of boxes if someone could send in the data.
