FENITON U13’S 1 v UPLYME YOUTH 13

Uplyme Youth made it three wins in a row as they secured a comfortable win at Feniton. Playing down the slope with the wind behind them in the first half they turned round with a 7 – 0 lead at half time thanks to goals from Tom Chapple, Kyle Knight (2), Anthony Simes (2), and Josh Armytage (2).

Uplyme continued to press strongly up the slope in the second half and scored further goals from Anthony Simes, Josh Armytage and Kyle Knight to extend their lead to 10 – 0 before Feniton grabbed a consolation. Uplyme were not finished however and further goals came from Tom Chapple, Josh Armytage and Anthony Simes.

Despite the presence of three hat trick boys in the side, Uplyme’s man of the match award deservedly went to Jack Fox for a tireless industrious display in defence and midfield. There were also sound performances in defence from Callum Taylor, Brett James and George Heath contributing to a solid all round team display.

Uplyme’s next game will be at home to Exmouth Amateurs on Sunday ko 2 pm.
