Does anyone know anything about these schemes?

Are they merely a waste of time?

Are they just a case of locking the stable door after the horse has bolted?

How could Saturday nightís burglary victims at Rhode Hill House have benefited by being in a scheme?

I understand that members pass on the news when burglaries have occurred in a neighbourhood. Could not that be extended to posting the same message on the forum or even the parish council website?

I was told that the police on the way to investigate the burglary at Rhode Hill had to ask someone in Rhode Lane where they could find Rhode Hill House Surprised

£2.9 billions having been spent on the TETRA police communications system itís a great shame that a couple of hundred pounds wasnít spent on a decent GPS navigation system for each car Sad

Rhodie,

The local Neighbourhood Watch rep is Peter Randerson. You can find more information including his email address at http://uplyme.com/neighbourhood_watch.htm
There is also information about our local Police contact Andy Carmichael

Cheers,
Geoff.
