The Crusaders youth football training sessions have restarted after the Summer break. All kids are welcome from 5 to 14, boys and girls - just turn up at the playing field at 9:00 on Saturdays and join in the fun. There is no charge.

Parents should pick up at 10:15.

Plymouth Argyle's Home Park ground is hosting England's Under-18 clash against Scotland in 24th March.

The game kicks off at 7pm. Tickets are 10 for adults and 5 for under-16s. Contact Plymouth Argyle on 01752 562561.

"England's future stars on show. The young England players will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of striker Michael Owen. Other players to have risen through the ranks from the youth squad include Paul Scholes, Sol Campbell, Robbie Fowler, Nicky Butt and Gary Neville."

Anyone interested joining in a 'Dad & Lad' sorry 'Parent and Child' trip?

CHEERS Tim

Hi Tim,

Mike and I would be up for that - maybe we could make it a rail-based trip from Axminster? One Argyle fan's website http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/park/yfh45/plymouth.htm says that it's only a 3.00 taxi ride from the station to the ground.

He also describes the facilities inside and around the ground as outstanding and says "the delicious 'Football's Famous Chicken Balti Pie' (2.20) is available inside the ground". Intreguing.

Geoff.

Webmaster,
Its been pointed out to me that Friday afternoon/evenings and trains don't mix too well. Morag says it would be standing room only.

Tim,

It's probably far enough ahead to be able to book 'cheap' Apex tickets and reserve seats ?
