Just some of the things happening in March...

Ash Wednesday - 9th March, 11am and 2pm - Creative worship with ashing in the church building.

Anyone in the community is welcome to join us and children from Mrs Ethelston's to mark the beginning of Lent.

Powerpoint Training - Saturday 12th March, 10am-noon - Uplyme church building.

Gavz will be taking you through the basics of Powerpoint - dead exciting. Anyone welcome to come along.

Bloke's Brekkie - Saturday 26th March, 8am - The Old Black Dog - Guest Speaker: Martin Wells

Every so often we have a Bloke's Brekkie at the Old Black Dog. This time, Martin will be speaking on 'The most wonderful door in the kingdom'. No idea what it's about but Martin's a good bloke so it should be fun.

Want to see a community coffee shop in Uplyme? - Monday 14th March, 7.30pm - The Old Nurseries, Rhode Lane

A whole bunch of people from the church are interested in starting a coffee shop in Uplyme. No idead if it will happen but those who are like-minded are getting together at Fiona Dunster's house to chat it through.

Lent Course - ‘Wayward Times’, Sundays, 20th March for 5 weeks, 4-5.30pm followed by reflective act of worship at 6pm, Uplyme church building

We watch a video and have a chat exploring some themes from the Old Testament and seeing how it speaks to us today. The course will be followed by a special reflective Lent worship from 6pm.
