What we have all been waiting for, the launch of the Uplyme Parish Council Website happened today.

The URL address is:

www.uplymeparishcouncil.org

What do you think of it?

Charles White, the parish clerk and creator of the website would appreciate any useful suggestions about changes or additions that you would like to see to the site.

I don’t think that it is meant to inspire one, but to inform. Does it do that Question

I think it has made a fair start with a report of last week’s parish council meeting and the minutes of all meetings that have taken place this year. We are promised that more will be added when time permits.

It is rather disappointing that there is no provision for parishioners to make comments or discuss parish matters. It is therefore very fortuitous that Geoff has launched the Uplyme Forum with exceptionally good timing. These matters will inevitably be discussed here and it would be appropriate if a link to the forum was put on the council website if only as a gesture of appreciation to Geoff for all the hard work that he has put in to supply a facility that many parish councils themselves make available.
