Hello
We have lived less than a mile away from the site for over 3 years, but just over the border in Lyme Regis. As this is not strictly in the Parish, would it still class as a Local Connection?
Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt

I am unsure of the exact particulars required, you would need to contact Guinness Trust on 01392 822900 or email, enquiries@guinnesshermitage.co.uk.

As I work for Mi-space we are the contractors building the project for Guinness and don't have anything to do with the renting of the houses.

Hope this helps

Regards
Chris

Affordable housing projects seem to be popular in Est Devon and West Dorset at the moment.

Is this one being done by a local community land trust in partnership with the housing association like the proposed ones at Symondsbury and Marshwood or are Guinness Trust going alone and raising the funds themselves?

Morning Hoodlum

The scheme is not in partnership with a Community Trust. The site was acquired wholly by The Guinness Partnership using its own funds alongside an allocation of grant funding from the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) as part of the 2011-15 Affordable Housing Programme.

Hope that helps

Regards

Chris
