Footpaths affected by recent flooding etc.:

Footpath 10 (Cuckoo Lane-Venlake) is closed after the flooding. Repair and clearance work is ongoing.

Footpath 3 (at Chimney Rock) is partially closed after the nearby landslip until the safety of the path has been assessed.

The bridge on Footpath 64 (behind Pitt White) is closed until 24 August as it is considered unsafe.

Part night lighting - after many months of waiting, we have been informed that the part-night lighting scheme will be put into action starting next week - one for you, Geoff!

I assume thats only on the main road I think most of the village has inadequate lighting to start with? Whalley lane has 3 maybe 4 lights you could hardly call hat excessive?
